Residents living around a flood-affected turlough in County Roscommon are hoping for positive news today.
The OPW Minister is visiting Roscommon, where he'll provide an update on long-term plans to end the Lough Funshinagh flooding crisis.
A short-term pumping solution has been in place at the former turlough since March.
In June, Minister Kevin 'Boxer' Moran said a planning application for the long-term solution would be made by the end of the year.
He's visiting Roscommon County Council this afternoon to update members.
