An Garda Síochána missed its staff commitments for roads policing for the second year in a row.
The former Garda Commissioner, Drew Harris, promised 150 new traffic officers over the last two years - but only delivered 79.
One officer was appointed in Longford, while Carrick-on-Shannon was allocated two.
County Roscommon, meanwhile, has been overlooked.
