It's emerged an x-ray unit will not be installed at the new community hospital in Carrick-on-Shannon.

At this month's meeting of the Regional Health Forum West, John Fitzmaurice, Integrated Health Area Manager for Sligo, Leitrim, West Cavan and South Donegal, confirmed X-ray facilities are not part of the current hospital build.
