HAP limits are currently not meeting what it takes to actually rent a house in Ireland. That's according to the Simon Communities after they found only 3.5 percent of rental properties across the country were available to HAP recipients. Their latest Locked Out of the Market survey found there is currently no properties available to rent in Co. Leitrim and Athlone through HAP.
