There were no injuries following a car fire in Longford town yesterday afternoon.
Longford Fire Service attended the scene on New Street at 2.45pm and the fire was quickly put out.
The incident resulted in the closure of the road for a short period of time before it was reopened after the scene was made safe.

Longford Fire Service have confirmed there were no reports of any injuries following the fire.
