Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a collision in Co. Longford yesterday.
The collision involved a SUV and a motorcycle on the R397 at Mosstown, Kenagh, Co. Longford, shortly after 7pm.
Gardaí and emergency services responded to the incident, where the motorcyclist, a 19-year-old male, was airlifted from the scene to the Mater Hospital.

He is currently being treated for serious injuries.
The road, which had been closed for examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators has since been reopened.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses, and any road users who may have camera footage, including dash-cam recordings from the area at the time are asked to come forward.
