A new men's shed could be in the pipeline for Co. Longford this year.
A local group has taken the initiative to advocate for a new shed in Ballymahon and are currently gauging interest for the project.
Information sessions will be held in Bridgeways Family Resource Centre on January 14th at 7pm, while another meeting will take place in Ballymahon Library on January 21st at 2pm.
Those attending will hear from representatives who will share their experience of other men's sheds.
Organiser Brian Madigan says activities at the shed would be completely tailored to participants' interests:
