A supermarket chain in Co. Longford has been granted permission to develop an off-licence at its premises.
The new Lidl foodstore with ancillary off-licence will be constructed at the Main Street/Church View backlands in Ballymahon.
The Ballymahon branch of the supermarket will cover 2,291 square metres in gross floor space and deliver up to 25 full time jobs.
Longford County Council recently granted planning permission for the off-licence addition subject to 20 conditions.
