A new walkway between two Shannonside villages will go to tender early next year. A 2-kilometre path will be developed between Rooskey and Dromod. It got planning permission last year and recently got over half a million euro of state funding.
Leitrim County Council chief executive, Joseph Gilhooly, says the project will be well advanced in 2026:
