A new first responders group has been officially launched in County Roscommon today.
The South Roscommon First Responders is the first of its kind in the county and will cover a 10 kilometre radius.
It will link in with the National Ambulance Service, with the aim of providing emergency life-saving care to heart attack and stroke victims and other medical emergencies.
