A new Irish Rail service from Athlone to Westport started today.
The new train leaves Athlone at 7:08am in the morning, providing a service for commuters on the line.
Additionally, the 7:30am Athlone to Galway train now begins in Tullamore at 6:50am and serves Clara.

Commuters on the 5:40am and 6:40am Sligo to Connolly services will now have an additional stop at Broombridge to provide for Luas connections.
These new timetables came into effect today and run Monday to Friday
