New disability parking spaces will be made available in Castlerea following calls from local residents.
Roscommon County Council confirmed it would provide the bays on Barrack Street in the town, which will accommodate people using the Post Office.
It's hoped the new spaces will be in use before April of this year.

Local TD Denis Naughton says the council looked at a number of locations in the town and believes the new bays will be of huge assistance to older people and those with a disability.
