Roscommon County Council is to provide additional bus shelters for users of a popular bus service the south of the county.
The local authority confirmed at this month's meeting of the Athlone Municipal District that four additional bus shelters will be provided in the wider Monksland and Bealnamulla areas
Two shelters will be developed on the Old Tuam road and two on the new road and it's hoped at least one shelter can be erected before the end of this year with the remaining three being provided in early 2022.
