There's been a positive response to plans for a new bridge in Roscommon town.
That's according to a senior engineer with Roscommon County Council, who says the project will help connect local schools and leisure facilities.
The proposed concrete structure would run over the railway line and link Convent Road to St Theresa's Road in Lisnamult.
A public consultation is taking place until 7 o'clock this evening in Roscommon Library.
