Longford County Council has given the green light for a new bed and breakfast in Longford town.
It will involve the change-of-use of a funeral home and offices in Church Street.
Nine en suite bedrooms will be developed, along with a kitchenette and dining area.
Ten people will be able to stay in the B&B at any one time.
