A local Senator has called for an end-to-end scheme to remediate houses that have been damaged by the use of defective concrete blocks.
Sligo–Leitrim Senator Nessa Cosgrove told the Seanad that poorly built homes are leaving North-West families living in fear.
Senator Cosgrove said the current grants that are in place don't go far enough.
