A total of 58 homeless people were in emergency accommodation in the Shannonside region last month.
The Department of Housing says there were 21 in Longford, 19 in Leitrim and 18 in Roscommon.
Nationally, there was a record high last month, with 15,580 people accessing emergency accommodation in April.
