Gardai say the the N5 is currently closed at Ballinagare, Co. Roscommon this evening due to a serious road traffic collision involving a lorry and a car.
It's understood the collision happened shortly after 4 o' clock this afternoon.
Gardaí and emergency services are at the scene and local diversions are in place at Frenchpark and Tulsk.
