Three public consultation sessions will take place next week on the N4 Mullingar to Rooskey project. The 52km section of the N4 passes through or close to several towns and villages including Ballinalack, Rathowen, Edgeworthstown, Longford and Newtownforbes.
A report shows that the road services upwards of 17,500 vehicles per day with over 200 road traffic collisions reported between 2008 and 2023. The public consultation will take place in the Longford Arms Hotel on Tuesday, in the Mullingar Park Hotel on Wednesday and in Edgeworthstown Library on Thursday. All three consultations will take place between 2-8pm.
