Mullooly still undecided on whether he will vote for Ursula von der Leyen

Castlerea's Luke 'Ming' Flanagan has confirmed he will vote against her, along with Fianna Fáil's Barry Cowen, over her support of Israel.

Shannonside MEP Ciaran Mullooly says he still hasn't decided whether he will vote for Ursula von der Leyen to remain as European Commissioner tomorrow. Castlerea's Luke 'Ming' Flanagan has confirmed he will vote against her, along with Fianna Fáil's Barry Cowen, over her support of Israel.

Fine Gael's Maria Walsh and Nina Carberry have already declared their support for von der Leyen. Mullooly, from Independent Ireland, says he will make a final decision this evening:

Mullooly, from Ballyleague/Lanesboro, has been elected on to the regional development and agriculture committees in the European Parliament.

He says his stance on tomorrow's von der Leyen vote is currently 50-50.
