Labour has revealed its candidate for the upcoming general election in Longford-Westmeath.
Mullingar native Fidelma Bennett was selected as the party's candidate this week.
She ran in the local elections earlier this year in the Mullingar local electoral area, receiving over 500 first preference votes.

Labour have confirmed two candidates in the Shannonside region with Sligo councillor Nessa Cosgrove running in the Sligo-Leitrim constituency.
