The much-anticipated SLNCR Greenway project has moved to the next stage.
While consultation will continue with landowners and other members of the public, it's hoped a preferred corridor can be published soon.
When completed, the greenway from Sligo town to Enniskillen will pass through counties Sligo, Leitrim, Cavan and Fermanagh.
The project is named after the Sligo, Leitrim and Northern Counties Railway which operated as a 75 kilometre railway line.
