Motorway partially closed near Athlone following collision

The Eastbound lane of the M6 near Athlone is currently closed due to a two vehicle collision.

Emergency Services are at the scene between Junction 13 and 14 and the motorway is partially closed.

No Injuries have been reported in the incident and traffic is currently backed up on the Eastbound lane.

Motorist's are being urged to take alternative routes with the incident expected to affect traffic over the next hour.
