A motorist is due to appear in court following an arrest by Longford Gardaí over the weekend for a litany of traffic offences.
The driver was observed by the local Roads Policing Unit holding a mobile phone while driving yesterday morning.
Following checks to the Garda mobility app, the motorist was found to be disqualified from driving and subsequently failed a roadside breath test

They were arrested at the scene for driving under the influence and have been charged to appear in Court.
