A motorist in Westmeath is facing a court date following a number of road traffic offences this week.
Delvin Roads Policing Unit were carrying out speed checks near Mullingar when they stopped a car for speeding.
The vehicle was recorded travelling at 103 kilometres an hour in an 80km zone.
After stopping the motorist, it was found that they also did not hold a valid license and had no insurance on the car.
The vehicle was seized and the driver will face a court date.
