A motorcyclist remains in a serious condition in hospital following a collision with a car outside of Longford Town yesterday evening. The young man was airlifted to hospital after his bike collided with a car on a local road at Mullaghavorneen beside Ballymacormack Cemetery.
It's understood he's now being transferred to the Mater Hospital in Dublin for further treatment. The L1127 past the cemetery is currently closed to facilitate a technical examination and local diversions are in place.
