Any money raised through local fundraisers for mental health charities should be used for local services. That's the view of Sinn Féin councillor Leah Cull, who says charities in rural Ireland are struggling to fund supports. This Saturday will see Pieta House hosting it's major annual fundraiser with walks taking place across the country.
Cllr Cull, who's a board member with local mental health charity Northwest STOP, says monies raised should stay in the community. Leah says fundraising is crucial but those taking part shouldn't be afraid to ask how funds will be put to use:
