The Minister for Community Development is playing down the prospect of an indoor swimming pool being built in Castlerea.
A public meeting was held about the issue last November, organised by councillor Anthony Waldron, who died in February.
A committee was set up to discuss carrying out a feasibility study for an indoor pool.
But, speaking at Castlerea's outdoor pool, Minister Dara Calleary said it would be a very expensive project:
