Outgoing Minister for Rural and Community Development Heather Humphrey's is in Co. Leitrim today to officially open a community centre. Margaret's Corner based in Carrigallen, is a community facility and is available to use for local meetings, classes and training days.
It's named after Margaret Haughery who was born in Tully, Carrigallen and emigrated to America with her family when she was only five years old. Chairperson of the Margaret of New Orleans Community Association Bernie O'Rourke says it's a great day for the community:
