Castlerea MEP Luke 'Ming' Flanagan says he would certainly have a chance of winning November's presidential election. The Roscommon politician is considering mounting a bid for the Áras.
He's been an MEP since 2014 and previously served as a TD, councillor, and Roscommon mayor. He says he might run for president to prevent a very right-wing candidate from winning:
