MIDOC GP Out of Hours closure will not affect Athlone Services

Athlone GP Out of Hours will not be affected by MIDOC GP's indefinite closure from New year eve.

That's according to a recent HSE statement explaining that Athlone GP Out of Hours is a separate entity and is not affected.

The HSE has announced that the agency will also provide appropriate cover based on scheduled practices until 15 January.

Patients can call the same number beginning in January 2023 and attend whichever treatment center they are directed to.
