Met Eireann say snow unlikely for Christmas but more rain on the way

Met Éireann says there's still uncertainty about the forecast for Christmas weekend.

Forecasters say snow is unlikely and that current indications suggest that more rain will spread across the country from the southwest on Friday night.

But the weather organisation says with Rudolph's help, Santa Claus will have no problem making his way through the rain.
