Met Éireann has issued a fog warning for 12 counties in the northern half of the country this morning.
The fog is expected to be most dense over Longford, Westmeath, Cavan, Monaghan, Offaly and Meath.
Met Éireann meteorologist Gerry Murphy explains that there will be mist and fog in most parts of the country.
