Freezing rain is not common in Ireland but it's coming this week - and it's far more dangerous than snow.
That's according to Met Éireann, which now has two nationwide status yellow warnings for wintery conditions in place.
The first is valid from late tomorrow night into Thursday morning - the second begins Thursday night into Friday.
