Memorial mass for north Roscommon man who died in Canada camping accident to take place today
Tributes have been paid to Charlie Beirne

Knockvicar native Charlie Beirne had been living in the British Columbia area in recent years.

A memorial Mass will take place later today for a north Roscommon man who died in a camping accident in Canada last month.
The mass is taking place at St. Patrick's Church in Crossna.
Knockvicar native Charlie Beirne had been living in the British Columbia area in recent years.
He was 35 years old and survived by his fiancé Taylor, son Shae and family.

Following his passing, local GAA club, St. Michael's said it was "deeply saddened" by the news.
In a post on Facebook, the club said "his character lit up every room."
The late Mr Beirne's funeral has taken place in Canada.
A memorial mass will take place in St Patrick's Church in Crossna at 3 o'clock.
