A memorial bench has been vandalised in Castlerea. The Castlerea.ie Facebook page say "they are really disappointed to see that the beautiful stone memorial bench in the Demesne has been vandalised."
Photos posted on social media show that four names have been carved into the stone. The Facebook page went on to say "A memorial bench should be a place of respect, peace and remembrance not something to damage".
