A meeting has been sought with Minister Dara Calleary over Co Leitrim's allocation to the Local and Community Improvement Schemes.
Only 19 roads in the county were addressed under the LIS scheme in 2025.
The scheme involves the state and homeowners jointly paying for the upgrade of small roads and laneways.
This month's meeting of the Ballinamore MD heard disapproval over the county's allocation with many areas said to be in need of the funding.
