A meeting is taking place in south Roscommon tonight to discuss the amalgamation of two local dioceses.
It's taking place in the Athlone Springs Hotel at 7pm, which will be led by Bishop of Elphin Kevin Doran.
Parishioners will discuss the future of the dioceses of Elphin and Achonry, which are to merge in the coming years.

Tonight's meeting is the fourth of six taking place across the region - and local councillor Tony Ward says the amalgamation is inevitable.
