A County Roscommon retailer has won silver in this year’s ShelfLife Magazine awards.
McGuires of Rooskey picked up the award for small forecourt retailer of the year.
Francis and John McGuire that run the Gala store in Rooskey said they were delighted to be nominated for the award but to bring home silver was the icing on the cake.

Dowlings Gala in Killenard in Laois won silver for convenience store of the year.
