Prayers to be offered this evening at a special mass for a Longford man who recently sustained life-threatening injuries in a road traffic collision. Jack Lennon was seriously injured when the car in which he was a passenger collided with a wall at Esker Cross in Ballinalee.
The single-vehicle car accident occurred at approximately 11:30pm on Sunday. He sustained spinal injuries, while the driver and two other passengers were rushed to the Midland Regional Hospitals in Mullingar and Tullamore for non life-threatening injuries. The mass will take place in St Oliver Plunkett's Church in Cullyfad this evening at 7pm.
