Independent TDs from the Shannonside region say they will be considering the programme for government document very carefully over the next few days.
Both sets of Independents, the Regional group, convened by Denis Naughten and a second grouping including Marian Harkin and Michael Fitzmaurice submitted policy priorities to the main parties and held discussions with negotiating teams over the last five weeks.
Speaking on Let's Talk today, Sligo Leitrim North Roscommon TD Marian Harkin says while many of their policies are included in general terms, there needs to be a lot more specific plans to ensure their support.
