A man in his 60s has died while swimming at a lake in County Laois.
He got into difficulty at Derryounce Lake in Portarlington at around half 3 yesterday afternoon.
He was taken from the water and brought to Portlaoise General Hospital but was pronounced dead a short time later.

Gardaí are treating his death as a tragic accident and a file will be prepared for the Coroner.
