A man is due to appear in court later this month after around €4,000 worth of heroin was seized in Longford town.
The drugs were recovered on the Ballinalee Road last Sunday after two people were searched by gardai.
A man and a woman, both aged in their 30s, were arrested.

The man was later charged and the woman was released, with a file being prepared for the DPP.
