A man has appeared at a special sitting of Longford District Court last evening in relation to an assault that occurred last month in the town.
The man in his 30s was arrested and charged in relation to an incident of assault that occurred in Longford town on Friday the 16th of April.
The incident occurred at Glebe View in Longford town resulting in a man in his 20s suffering stab wounds to his leg.

The man was released on bail and is due to reappear before Longford District Court on July 27th next.
