A man in his 20s has been charged after being found to be in possession of a machete in Ballinasloe this week. After searching a car yesterday morning, Gardaí recovered a machete, hatchet and knife, and arrested the man in connection with the incident.
He's since been charged and released on bail. The man is due to appear before Ballinasloe District Court next month.
