A man is due in court this charged after a number of break-ins to cars in Longford town this week.
The man in his 30s was arrested by gardaí on Wednesday after a car was broken into and an electronic device was taken.
It's understood the man was also questioned about a separate incident involving another vehicle.

He has bene charged in connection with the alleged offences and is due to appear at Mullingar District court around now.
