A 40-year-old man has been charged with an alleged violent assault in Longford earlier this week.
Hughie Nevin, of 41, Grian Ard, Ardnacassa, Longford, was charged with assault causing harm at Canal Court on Thursday.
He made no reply when charged and was granted bail, subject to a number of conditions. He is due back in court in Longford on the 20th of July next .
