Man charged over murder of pregnant women in Armagh

The accused used a 6 hour long live stream of him playing video games as an alibi.

A man has been remanded in custody, charged with the murder of Natalie McNally.

She was killed in her home in Lurgan in County Armagh in December, when she was 15-weeks pregnant.

A court heard Stephen McCullagh from Woodland Gardens in Lisburn allegedly used a live stream of him playing video games as an alibi.

Allison Morris is crime correspondent with the Belfast Telegraph - and she says the live stream had some interesting elements:

'He said at the start of this six hour live stream which is still online, that he was having problems with his tech so he would not be able to interact with anyone who was watching.

During this he said things like 'it is 7.03' and the times matched the times it would have been.

Magistrate Rosie Waters said that this was a cold blooded killing but also that it was meticulous in its planning.'
