A 48 year old man has appeared in court charged with the murder of his next door neighbour in Clonsilla in Dublin.
77 year old Peter McDonald was stabbed to death on White Chapel Road on Saturday morning.
48 year old Patrick McDonagh of White Chapel Road in Clonsilla appeared before Blanchardstown District Court this morning charged with his murder.

His solicitor said it was very important that he been seen by a psychiatrist as he has psychiatric difficulties.
Patrick McDonagh was remanded in custody to appear in court again on Friday.
