Gardaí have arrested one man following the seizure of €16,000 worth of suspected cannabis resin in County Roscommon yesterday.
The suspected drugs, which are subject to analysis, were seized from an individual in the Clooneybeirne area of Roscommon town shortly before 4pm yesterday.
The seizure formed part of an intelligence-led operation.

A man, aged in his late 20s, was arrested at the scene.
He was detained at Castlerea Garda Station in connection with the seizure but has since been released without charge.
A file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions in this matter.
